![]() How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process? We plan to gradually raise the price as we ship new content and features” “Yes, there will be a price difference between early access and the full version. Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access? That's why you will be constantly in fear!” ![]() We designed Demonologist so that you will have a different experience each time you play each map. Each map has a different concept and exorcism mechanic. Demonologist promises a lot of replayability in the current version. “There are 3 maps, 14 equipments, 3 safe houses, and a lot of safe house customization items available in the current version. What is the current state of the Early Access version? Our goal is to add a class system where you can choose your specialties, just like a real ghost hunter.” We also plan to add unique gameplay mechanics that will keep players constantly excited. “When the full version is released, we plan to add more playable maps, equipment, and safehouses to the game. How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version? “It will take 3-4 months to release the full version to bring Demonologist to the level we want.” In the early access phase, taking into account the ideas and feedback of the community, We want to release Demonologist in a bug-free, near-full potential release.”Īpproximately how long will this game be in Early Access? I have easily gotten that much fun out of this game and hopefully much more soon with the upcoming release of the Bedlam map.“We wanted to bring out the basic ideas of the game with the early access version. Is it worth it? At its current price point of $14.99, absolutely. So many spoopy games I have played would have me longing for an eastern inspired location. Oh! And I'm absolutely beyond tickled pink that Kurosawa house exists as a map. You can also purchase real estate to change to location of your headquarters, decor to spruce it up a bit, and cosmetic items for your character. The tools that you get are standard to any that you would find in a paranormal investigation game but I like how the Devs made them look more interesting with a little roach operating the EMF meter and having a canvas for the ghost to paint on. In addition to needing to discover the ghost type, you have the option to complete bonus objectives and exorcise the entity. I'm sure there are a bunch that I forgot. From moving objects, to threatening voices, manifestations, and if you're lucky- an exploding head. There are a large variety of scares that you encounter whilst waving your trusty instruments around to detect the paranormal. ![]() While the games are similar, Demonologist has enough extra stuff to give it strong enough legs to stand on it's own. Most would expect me to compare it to Phasmophobia. :PĮventually I became more familiar with the mechanics, and I was able to stay calm enough to complete some investigations without having a mental breakdown. But in my state of blind panic, my brain went into ape-mode and just went 'RUN FROM THE CRAB GIRL BEFORE SHE PUTS YOUR INSIDES ON THE OUTSIDE OMFGHAGAGAGAAAGGGHHHH' so my legs spun up like scooby doo and I booked it out of there. Now- I'm sure this may not be what the actual artwork looks like. How can I, the fearless kitten be chased away by a little girl? She looked like an effing crab with the way her legs bent and the head of a child. ![]() I took some time to process what just happened. I did my best to put my grownup panties on and be brave, but I was chased out of the house by a spooky girl crawling on all fours. I struggled with this game in the beginning because that first house scared the bejeezus out of me. This game still needs a fair amount of polish(it's in early access <3), but I enjoy it quite a bit! ![]()
